Although there isn't a game giveaway today, there is a game in the listings, so hopefully there will be a game tomorrow. All I can say is it's not a Wheemplay game. :)

Some of the giveaways had reg codes and are on my laptop, so I have been sending them via email so that I can put them back on the desktop.Well just be happy that you can relax a little today...

Yes Suki, it's always a pleasure not to have to check the comments regularily. Sometimes it can take qite a lot of time due to the replies that I make for community members who post problems (I always try to answer those).
Looks like I'm getting a full weekend for a change. :).
It couldn't have come at a better time. My daughter has been perfprming in her show over the past few days; (Cinderella). She has about 12 different dances to perform, some of which are quite difficult, so things have been very busy here with practice.
I'm off to the last showing this evening. I'm looking forwards to going. I've always enjoyed the pantomimes that she's been involved in over the past six or so years.

Games GuruGood news, we have at least four weeks worth of games in the game giveaway lists now and even better news one of the major arcade developer/distributors has returned to the giveawayoftheday with four games to give away over the coming weeks and hopefully more later. I won't spoil the surprise though.

Games GuruWell it's been revealed now. Of course it's alawar. I used to sing their praises all the time some years ago. They were very good to me giving me loads of free games for Beta testing, sending me a present of a courier bag, a wall clock, a mug (Magic Ball 3) a calendar and a cuddly toy as well as giving me some very good discounts on many games. After I stopped buying games from Reflexive, Alawar was the developer I ended up buying a lot of games from; I liked their method of activating the games (no DRM). Unfortunately Alawar change the way you purchase games last year, which I personally didn't like so stopped buying from them. Michelle has posted details of a great deal on Amazon. A DVD with 101 great arcade games virtually all of which come from Alawar. (less than $20 for 101 premium arcade games is amazing)
update. I checked Alawar earlir and discovered anew breakout, so downloaded the demo and discovered ta ou can pay like you did before. The last time i tried they were pushing that new scheme where you pay so much to gain access to all of their games for a specified period. there seemed no way around it at the time. Maybe i just didn't loo hard enough. The new game called Mega World Smash is basically the next in the Srikeball series. Well actually it looks more like a cross between the old Magic Ball and Strike Ball as it has elements from both. (I never understood why they changed the name of Magic Ball to Smash Frenzy. I much prefer the old name. Hmmm I wonder if we will get it via the game giveaway now that alawar has returned to the fold. I purchased Roboball when it was first released and only several weeks later it was given away by /alawar. Too late though. I couldn't resist buying it now, lol. Breakouts are still one of my favorite arcade game genres together with space shooter and match three's.
