Ski Challenge 2012:
Keith posted details of a free Indie bundle that contains some of the better freeware indie games available today. We've already posted some of those games previously, though at least one of those has since been updated (again). I though I'd repost the game ( now called Ski Challenge 2012) rather than update the original which was originally posted as ORF: ski challenge 2011. I'll also post the rest of the games that Keith found seperately over the next few days. I've got a lot of games I've been meaning to post, but the last several months have been rather hard so I've not been posting many games. Thankfully chazzo filled the spot brilliantly for most of last year, and now we have other members such as Txgoogoo and now Keith posting free games as well.
Hopefully my self inflicted sabbatical is now over and I intend posting games on a more regular basis again, at least on a weekly basis for as long as I'm able to.
Ski challenge 2012 starts with a first – a Super-G will be held on the Beaver Creek course for the first time from 2 December. It will be followed by a further Super-G in Val d’Isère, before the first downhill race of the season in Gröden, in mid-December. After Christmas, there is Bormio to spice up the new year, before the classic races of Wengen and Kitzbühel in January. Details of the individual races can be found HERE.There are World Cup points to be won for all races. The World Champion will be crowned after the Hahnenkamm downhill race – so racers will have to muster every ounce of strength one last time on the Streif course. It will be worth it, because there are attractive prizes to be won once again for the 2011/2012 season. If you’re up there with the best, you could even win an exclusive ski weekend with Didier Cuche and Patrick Küng.

You can download Ski challenge 2012 from HERE. You can change the language from english to German, French, Italian or Indonesian. If you like ski games there are several commercial versions available, some can be found on amazon quite cheap due to their age, for example:

All for around £2 to £5 each; though you can get some cheaper second hand and coming on the 20th of January 2012 is Winter sports 2012.
