There are a lot of games discounted by up to 75% that are now $1.00 to $2.50. If you click on all specials & then sort by price seems to be the best way to go through them (although you also have to slog through a ton of DLCs).

Ha ha, I know what you mean. There are just too many good games on sale. Several of the ones i decided not to purchase when they were first released less than two months ago are in the sale from between 50% to 75% off. Too tempting. On top of all this there's all the recently released games such as Battlefield 3, Call of duty Modern Warfare 3, Skyrim, Serious Sam 3 and very soon to be released Batman: Arkham City (already out in the states and less than a day to go here) and Lord of The Rings: War in the North and Assassins Creed: Revelations early December. Whats a poor wabbit gonna do, lol.

Has anyone here played any of the Men of War games? I noticed they are heavily discounted on Steam right now and I was thinking about trying one. Is there a particular one that stands out? I read a couple of reviews of the latest one Vietnam and it really got slammed by the reviewers. I was thinking about getting the Assault Squad one. I just noticed that the original game does not support XP64 or Vista64 so I would guess it wouldn't work on Win 7 64 either. Is that the case?

Each game page has Metascore ratings, which should give you some idea of their overall reviews. I think the original Men of War got an average score of 80, the more recent 77, and Vietnam 67.
Playability seems to be hit and miss on 64bit systems. Some people have no problems, others can't run it at all. You might want to just do a quick google search (men of war windows 7 x64) to see what your chances are like.

Some good games today! The major titles are as follows:
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - 50% off
Grand Theft Auto IV - 75% off, plus franchise sale
King Arthur Collection - 75% off
Flight Control HD - 75% off
Sanctum plus DLC - 75% off
Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - 75% off
Back to the Future series - 60% off
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - 33% off
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - 50% off
Patrician IV - 66% off
Serious Sam HD Gold (thats SS HD 1 and 2) - 90% off
Dead Island - 50% offPlus of course hundreds of games on sale through the course of the weekend. I've put some on my wishlist in case they come up cheaper by Sunday.
Dead Island and Deus Ex are only a few months old, so a nice price drop there. I suspect some of these will be in the Christmas sale, but who knows at what price. I have a feeling that, at worst, they'll be half price again. So I'm going to wait and hope for a better deal then.
Flight Control HD is the only 'family' style game with a big discount, if you're looking for a more relaxed 2d experience. They also have the Cake Mania series on sale, so if you're interested in those types it may be worth going over for a quick look.
If you like the classic FPS games (lots of ammo and enemies) and don't have Serious Sam, it's probably worth a look at 90% off. The four-pack is also 90% off, so it's a good time to pick that up. I'm on the fence, so am going to download the demo (right hand side, below the trailers).
