Both games have multiplayer which will probably only work well enough over LAN. The games may also have split screen.

Try GameMaker and just DO IT, don't think too much. : )Our game uses DaisyMoon which is our own game engine (same as Cobalt!) which enables us to work pretty fast in it, since we know it inside out. The engine part is written in C++ but all the code that differs from game to game is written in Lua, a scripting language that has faster developer speed than say C++.

Yep! They are 3 teams.
Team Mojang (Minecraft) has got the big money, the big team and the office.
Team Oxeye is working in the office of Mojang.

This event was very thrilling - for little me.
I mostly paid for the "performance" than for the games (Sorry).To see how the Wolfire team built their machines - incredible. LOL
I'm sure, a constructing engineer could build them with these blue prints.
And all the detailed work Aubrey put into the construction... it's a shame, that you hardly see any of the details in the small format of the game.To see how much fun the Oxeye team had with teaching their small pixel guys to fight, to kick... LOL again
Like you Campy, I don't know if I would have bought a dungeon crawler with a WWII theme, but now I can enjoy it.
Sadly I got sever on-off problems, and that made that I couldn't watch as much as I wanted. Nevertheless, I took hundreds of screenshots.
Well the videos are still there to watch - hopefully even when my dsl-connection runs smoothly again.graylox

MemberThey have finally posted the third game, Fist of Resistance. Actually one of the three, The Broadside Express, wasn't finished and the developer says they aren't planning to do any more on it so this is actually the second completed game. From the FoR readme file:
**Story**
You and your team are the last survivors of a genetic experiment conducted by the Nazis to create super-humans capable of immense punching and kicking power. After beating your experiment supervisors you find yourself at the bottom level of a bunker. Your goal is simple. Get to the surface, to freedom, and beat as many Nazis as you can and grab their Nazi gold on your way!
** Controls **
Move around with the arrowkeys.
Press shift to start running
Punch nazis with X
Kick'em with Z
Jump by pressing X and Z at the same time. While flying, press Z to do an air kick and X to punch in the air!
Pick up stuff with X
If the game hangs, press ctrl-r to restart.Also, I found that the Minecraft forums have a section on their game, Catacomb Snatch. It includes a Java version of the game that appears to be an updated and improved version when compared to the Windows version on the Humble Bundle site. It has added instructions, a choice of three difficulty levels, and a choice of levels/locations on which to play (currently 7 different play fields). You can find it here. It appears that this is available for anyone to download for free.
As I sort of expected, I don't know that I got much for my money. At least it was a worthy donation as well. It really shows the power of the internet and known developers like Mojang. They raised almost half a million dollars over the weekend.

MemberHumble Bundle V has added Braid, Lone Survivor and Super Meat Boy for those who have paid more than the average.
I already had Braid, which is an excellent platformer, but did not have SMB or Lone Survivor.
Lone Survivor is simply brilliant. A post apocalyptic 'side on' action adventure game with simple controls and atmospheric, slightly retro graphics. Only just scratched the surface of this game, but it looks very well done.
Super Meat Boy. Disappointed. Personally, I cannot see what all the fuss is about. It's way too difficult to control. Actually DEMANDS that you use a gamepad and not keyboard.
Difficult levels, impossible controls and teeny tiny graphics.
For me, this game is just too frustrating for words. I am so glad I didn't pay the full £11.99 for this - it would have been a total waste of hard earned cash. I really can't understand the hype.BTW - LIMBO is possibly one of the best games I have ever played.
