   The more Facebook friends you have, the bigger your brain is
   We know that Google makes us stupid - and can affect the way we remember information. But when it comes to social media popularity, the size of your brain matters.
   Scientists at the University College London used brain scans to understand how Facebook and brain structure are related and found that the number of Facebook friends is linked to the size of certain brain regions. This may explain why some people have a few hundred friends online while other have thousands of friends on Facebook.
   The scientists also found that the number of friends people had online, usually meant they had more friends off-line.

   You lucky one. How did you do it?

   I read somewhere how to get rid of a lot on one sweep, but lost the link.
   It's a barbarous punishment to kill them one by one, I did it for some hours - and gave up.

   Took me about 3 or 4 days 2 years ago. I just got over it. Even unfriended the hubby. All I have is companies and groups and very few of them.

   Don't waste too much time searching for ways to remove more than one person at a time. Facebook does not currently provide this option. Keep this in mind when you accept friend requests: friends are easy to add but time-consuming to remove.

   Robert, I'm afraid there are more questions for help on Google than the one and only answer thousands of FB users are looking for: a batch unfriender.

   It seems to be easier to delete my FB account and start from scratch with only the few friends I really will keep.

    What a load of twaddle. I have a very high Mensa IQ level but deliberately just a chosen few friends on Facebook. ;)

    Next they'll be saying more friends on Facebook = bigger dicky or other body parts!

    I would've said, "the more times you read and repost articles such as this, the smaller your brain is".

    I'm sure there is a bunch of university students somewhere who would be willing to conduct such a study and publish the results... on facebook.

    Bigger brain doesn't mean smarter person.

    It's a known fact that Einstein's brain was only about the size of a walnut. People could actually hear it sloshing around when he wrote on a chalk board. That's why he had such big hair: winter insulation.
