Had to stop midway level 8 Egypt and come back to resume later only to find that time had expired and have to start over entire Egypt section. Saving at any moment means saving time left not keep clock ticking. This is second Playrix game that starts well then becomes annoying as players advance not taking into account that touchpads in laptops are not optimally designed and cursors tend to jump all over the place sometimes which causes players to lose time trying to relocate the cursor back where it can have an effect.

You have to complete an entire country section before progress is saved for later resumption.
Try cleaning the laptop touchpad with a non-lotion wet-wipe, wiping carefully after with soft tissue to remove grease which builds up. It should make your touchpad more responsive and less jumpy if cleaned carefully regularly! :)

I've been playing this on and off since the weekend, and it saves for me in the middle of a country section (e.g. Egypt Level 3). I can't get through the whole of Carthage yet, so does anyone know what happens if you lose all your lives 'cos I've got a nasty feeling that this may happen, LOL...

I haven't gotten that far in this game but I'm so upset today because on Around the World in 80 Days I had gotten to 11 million and had 30 lives going into Level 81. I couldn't get past it and I'm now back to 0. I even tried to do a System Restore back to yesterday but it saved the game data at the 0 point. I remember someone once mentioning how to adjust the time you have but I can't remember how to do it. Oh well thanks for letting me vent.

I got through the entire Call of Atlantis with 9 lives left along with 8 bombs, 10 lightning bolts, 9 hour glasses but no swap bonuses! I used the last 2 to get past the last level. I had 240,165 points. That last level is a monster - 5 blocks across the bottom with only one open spot on each side. Of course, all the pieces you need to catch are across those 5 blocked columns.
I started a new game rather than go around for "journey 2". I play the game to relax and it just keeps getting harder. I'd rather take a breather and see if I can beat that 240,000+ the second time around.

Just finished Journey 1 with 241,375 points but hardly any power-ups of any sort left! That last level of Carthage really is horrid - I was moving the pieces left and right on the top of the blocked columns and thought I was never going to get them free. It's a very good game of logic, though, and I'm sure it must be excellent exercise for the brain cells (at least, that's what I'm trying to persuade myself). I don't usually play Match-3 games as the ones I've tried have seemed to be full of rather unnecessary complications, but I've found this one to be reasonably uncomplicated but the sort of thing that makes you have to think quite a lot of moves ahead.
Very good game indeed - many thanks to whoever came up with it.

I finally finished after having abandoned my first game because I didn't save my power-ups and was completely stuck. I had just under 300,000 points and about 4 power-ups left. Great game. On to Journey 2 tomorrow.
