Making the Web FasterFasten your seat belts! With lightning fast start-up times, rapid graphics rendering and improved page load speed, the latest version of Firefox is full of performance enhancements that you’ll notice instantly.
Web applications like mail, video and games keep getting more awesome, but they also require additional power to run smoothly. To meet these increasingly sophisticated demands, our latest release features a massively improved JavaScript engine called JägerMonkey.
Firefox 7.0 was released today and yes, browsing is really fast and the browser's memory management has reached a new level but...
are we in a rush to get our old version updated?
Personally I'll stick to my old -and- stable version 3.6.22 for a bit longer (and I'm running Firefox (4,5,6.02) 7 as a portable version ),mainly because some of the addons I grew accustomed to use, are not compatible ...unless I buy new software.
Just wondering if we all follow the update craze or stick to our old version for better and for worse..
and/or maybe if "install.rdf" editing did solve compatibility issues for some of your addons.
