Dreamball 64 is a fantastic ‘take’ on Marble Madness, and Dreamball 64 also has puzzle and platform elements. It’s a sensational game to play and though many levels are ‘semi top-down 2D’ there are also some 3D isometric levels! You have to navigate your ball through each of the very well-designed levels, passing through all of the gates while avoiding falling off the platforms, and then hitting the goal bumper to proceed to the next level.
To add a lot of extra fun and make gameplay altogether more interesting there are also spiky obstacles, transport tunnels, jumping platforms and turbo stripes to either assist or hinder your progress. And don’t fall off the sky-platforms! It’s a splendid, and bright and colorful game that has obvious similarities to the 'Sonic the Hedgehog' series of games, especially on levels where there are safety bumpers and hoops to jump through.
It’s a really excellent way to while away some time!
