   There's another Indie bundle for sale for only $5 that ends on July 3rd (maybe something special for the 4th July???) The bundle includes five excellent indie titles including:

   • Mactabilis

   • Digitanks

   • Delve Deeper

   • Spring Up Harmony

   • Steel Storm: Burning Retribution (this is part of a three set game, one of which is freeware - I posted that in week 144 of the free games project I think)

   You can find details of the games HERE also you can watch videos demonstrating each game HERE. If I get time over the next few days I'll post some images and more videos.

   Thanks for the heads up on this one Nola fron New Zealand. Much appreciated. You can get a steam key for Delve Deeper and a Desura key for all of them. Steel Storm: Burning Retribution has binaries for Windows, Mac and Linux as well.

   I've got most of these games, but will still contribute seeing as all of the money is going directly to the developers. They deserve it. I hope the sale creates some good revenue for them. :)

   For those who are interested - all games have a multiplayer modus.

   This time I don't think I'll go for this bundle. There are 2 games I would be slightly interested in, Delve Deeper (I have already got it) and perhaps the Peggle clone Spring Up Harmony.

   Could be that the developers deserve the money - but I deserve my money too!
   It seems the bundle-concept is getting more and more popular, however just because something is a bargain, doesn't mean I have got to like or even buy it.
   Just my 2 €cent ;)

   They have added a 6th game, Star Twine, but kept the $5 price.

   My initial reaction to this package was it looked like a bunch of shumps (not of too much interest to me) and Delve Deeper (which I already own). Star Twine is supposedly a very unique looking RTS. It looks interesting enough that I may have to check out whether I need to buy another set of games I don't have time to play.

   The Star Twine site doesn't load. But there are some movies on you tube e.g. this one:

   The art looks terrific - but I didn't understand anything about the game :(

   Well, it looks to me as though those of us who bought before the 6th game was added, now miss out on the 6th game, unless they want to pay US$9.99 for it alone and it isn't that much of interest to me to do that. I have clicked on everything in the emails I got and everything else I can think of even remotely connected to the bundle, including the game on the website, with no joy. I got these for my grandson, fortunately he won't know about the 6th game, so it won't matter to him that he can't get it.

    NolafromNZ, see their FAQ. According to it: Players who purchased the bundle before June 26th will still have Star-Twine available to them, but due to a technical inconvenience you must request it by contacting their support line.

    The FAQ has a link to their support line. Also, at the bottom of their front page is a "Contact Us" link that you can use to send them a message if you have any problems.

    BTW, I am from the US and had a great two week trip to NZ last year. People treated us very well and we had a lot of fun.

    Hi Campy, Thank you very much for your reply. The one place I DIDN'T think of looking was the FAQ. (Please excuse the shouting, trying to figure out the bold bit is too complicated at my great age of 62! Besides, I've been up all night with 2 4mth german shepherd pups peeing everywhere with fright during a number of big thunderstorms so what brain I had left, has turned to mush.)

    I emailed their Customer Support as requested and got a practically instantaneous email back with the download url. Talk about quick!

    I'm glad you enjoyed New Zealand, it is a wonderful place to live, especially for beautiful scenery and (usually) friendly people. Like everywhere we get our good and bad apples.

    Well, I'm for bed. Lucky pups have slept away the morning! My turn this afternoon.

    I received the following newsletter this morning from the developer. anyone who signed up for the newsletter will also receive this:

    5 For 5 Indie Games Bundle Update

    Thanks to everybody who purchased the 5 for 5 indie games bundle. The bundle has been a great success and I have some updates about it to share with everybody.

    If you bought the bundle and you signed up for the mailing list option then that's why you got this email. (If you'd rather not get emails then there's an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. We don't like spam and we don't like spamming people.)

    For one, on Monday there was a new game added to the bundle, Star-Twine

    . It's an abstract real time strategy game set in space. If you purchased the bundle before Monday then there's two ways for you to get Star-Twine. The first way is to use your Desura key. If you redeemed your games on Desura then you should be able to automatically play Star-Twine now. The second way to play is to email me and ask for a link. Due to technical reasons, we weren't able to automatically send everybody an email when the game was added, but I can easily send you one.

    Second, due to more complicated technical reasons, we weren't able to provide links that never expire, and we didn't realize this until a few days ago. If you still haven't downloaded your games and you find that your links have expired, contact me and I can reset your links for you. But, it's a good idea to redeem the game on Desura to make sure you can always access your games. And lastly, a few people didn't get Desura links when they purchased the bundle. If you were one of those just let me know and I'll send you a key right away.

    Tomorrow is the last day to purchase the bundle, and we won't be extending it. On behalf of the other five developers and myself, thanks again for everybody's support.

    One last note. If you are a bundle purchaser and you want to be able to download future versions of Digitanks as soon as they are released, I will soon be setting up a way of redeeming a copy of Digitanks from our website using your bundle order number. That will allow you to play the new campaign missions and the revamped multiplayer. But if you can't wait and you must have a copy of the Digitanks 1.2 beta right now then email me and I'll set you up.

    And if you feel like emailing me just to tell me something that's on your mind, that's okay too. I love getting emails!

    Star-Twine is a real-time strategy game where you place battle units on ribbons to eliminate enemy orbs. The game consists of one-on-one battles so is played as a skirmish. The games is fast-paced with some unique qualities. A game usually takes about 15 mins, if one player gains an early advantage. Online multiplayer allows you to battle against another player, or you can play against the (computer) AI. The game actively searches for other players, but it doesn't show how many (if any) people are online. Star-Twine has a brief tutorial but no manual.
